Our
Story
Founded by Sabrina and Katrina Yum-Shuster, Waycroft Productions is a film production company that aims to tell stories that center around those who feel unheard and underrepresented in modern-day media. The Yum-Shusters often write and create films with the biracial and feminine experience in mind, eager to show ethnically diverse faces on the screen.

Her whole life seemingly ends and she cant help but spiral. However, Nikki Singh, the school's eclectic head of the yearbook department, has developed an odd obsession with Jude and befriends her during this time. Through this relationship, Jude realizes there are more important things in her life than popularity.
p r e m i s e
This seven-episode coming-of-age limited series aims to tell a story about young women and how they connect with one another outside of the male gaze. The theme of this project is female friendship and exploring the relationships young people have with each other and the social hierarchy. The energy is supposed to be dreamy, quirky, funny and dramatic, in an effort to show how important everything seems when one is in high school. We have completely finished principal shooting for the whole series and have finished post production on episode one. We are currently submitting our pilot to local and out of state film festivals. This production was done on a micro-budget, and a tight shooting schedule. The post production is done entirely by the two-person-team of the Yum-Shusters.
